Club Equipment

Members can use club equipment on OCJ club trips.

Tents must be looked after properly, dried thoroughly before returning, and returned by Wednesday after the weekend they were used. Postal charges must also be paid if needed and any repairs or lost equipment. Sleeping bags must also be dried but not washed! (no good for down feather).

Equipment can only be used on official OCJ events - not private trips.

5 tents, 2 sleeping bag, 3 pairs of snowshoes, 1 kayak, 4 pairs of rock climbing boots -new!

Sleeping bag (Rab down bag to -8 degrees). 1,000en/day
Sleeping bag (Vango synthetic fill to -3 degrees). 500en/day
Redfeather snowshoes (65cm/25 inch: to intermediate level & 80kg plus pack). 1,000en/day
Tubbs snowshoes (65cm/25 inch: to intermediate level & 80kg plus pack). 1,000en/day
Simple Japanese steel snowshoes ( 40cm: ok if not fresh powder snow). 500en/day
Kayak (cost depends on event)
4 pairs of simple, 'no brand' climbing boots from Montbell. Sizes not clear but about JP 22/23 to JP 25.5. You need to try them on. They are FREE to use.
