There is a new video upload and viewing area - see under the 'Members Area' menu after login.

Easy to use!

One thing you need to do before uploading a video is to convert it to a flash video file ( .flv). There are many free converters on the internet

RIVA Encoder is one for Windows.

http://www.rivavx.de/

http://www.rivavx.de/index.php?downloads0&L=3

Download via Download.com

Online conversion:  http://flvencoder.com/

Or search for ' free flv encoder converter'

Mac also has many - search internet.

Some online conversion sites give better quality but also higher file size. Better to accept some loss of quality because it takes too much time to upload and download... there are limits!

Why convert?

A lot of video software now requires it for internet viewing.

Converting on the website is a heavy load on the processor and most cheap webhosts do not allow it.

Videos are smaller in size.

Using Riva - settings

I would set the video bit rate to highest 1600.

The rest don't need changing but you could use a hight frame rate of 30.

Most videos are shown on the website at a smaller size of 320x240 but 640x480 ok as people can download.

Open your video and click 'Encode' ... it doesnt take long and the new video file will be in the same folder but ending with .flv

Upload that to the OCJ website from the video page.
